As soon as I saw the challenge I knew it was definitely not one of my strong points. I also knew it would take someone with strategic reasoning. I immediately thought of Robb with his strong math skills and decided the best thing to do was wait for him to come online. After awhile Sherea came online. She wanted to go ahead and start the challenge but I talked her out of it. She knew that if you got to a certain point in the challenge you were sure to win. The trouble was she knew how to do it capturing 1 to 3 flags rather than 1 to 2 flags. Evidently Robb did show up and knew exactly the best way to proceed in the challenge. The trick was not to go first and from then on make sure that the flags left were multiple of 3's. Or if you did have to go 1st then hope the other side did not know the trick.
Thankfully San Isidro did go first and from then on each post made by Robb & Sherea left 18, 15, 12, and so forth flags until the challenge was won. After that 1st post they didn't have a chance. San Antonio seemed to have the same idea and also won against Miraflores.
San Isidro and Miraflores are now up against one another. But there seems to be a standoff. I see completely why this is so. If either tribe observed at all how the other tribes had won then they would know that the first tribe that posts will be the losing tribe. The 2nd tribe will have control of all the posts and win the game.
What is the solution so it can be more fair to both tribes? I'm not sure but maybe change it to capturing 1 to 3 flags. Of course Robb or someone like him would probably know just the right way to proceed but it would probably be a lot harder and give each tribe a better fighting chance.
Who Do I Want To Win?
So which tribe would I personally want to win? If San Isidro loses I believe Tina is in serious trouble and one of the former Miraflores would be out of the game. That means old San Antonio would have the numbers with 6, Miraflores with 5, and La Molina with 3. Of course I have no idea if the old tribal lines would stick together but it is something to consider.
If Miraflores should lose I would assume Matty would be voted out. This would mean the old San Antonio & Miraflores would be tied up with 6 each and La Molina with only 2 members remanding. This would more to our advantage if Miraflores did come back together.
So who do I want to win? I'm just going to see what happens and then hope for the best.
