Ace has arrived.
I have not come with much, though. I do not have a real gameplan and my strategy is nonexistent. To some degree, I think I will strive to play a game like Ace's. I'm certainly not afraid to be deceptive and the manipulation of others is critical to success in this game. I would like to gain a ally not unlike Sugar, although I will strive to be more perceptive about their loyalties. I think that Ace's downfall was not necessarily Sugar herself, but his lack of recognition of the strategic mind of Sugar. He treated her like a pawn and not a equal. I, myself, would like to find not only a partner that I could trust, but one who would be a contributing member in strategical talks. Someone who is equally as intelligent, whilst intimidating, is ultimately worth it. It is better to have a intelligent friend then a potential intelligent enemy.
I have chatted with a few of the contestants in this game. Namely, Sharea, and the two Dans. Sharea seems to be a very innocent, yet intelligent girl. I kind of find myself hesitant to be myself around her simply because of the enormous age gap between us (i.e. holding back from inappropriate jokes and obscene conversations). She is not on my tribe, but I have no doubt that she could be a potential ally down the road. Another person who I have talked to is Dan Barry, also not on my tribe. At first, he seemed to be a kind, older gentlemen who shared a similar passion of History. Still, something did struck me as quite odd about the gentlemen. Later, Sherea informed me that he told her he was 51, whilst he told me he was 57.
It has become apparently obvious that the player behind Dan Barry is a alias. His age is only the first clue. While talking about History, the man did not know what the Third Reich was. Anyone with a high school education should know what the Third Reich was. In fact, he mentioned his favorite historical event as the Civil War. This indicates that he taught United States history, which surely would have mentioned the Third Reich. If this accusation is true, it really is despicable that the person playing Dan would create the fabrication of a dead spouse in order to garner sympathy. This really crosses the line of manipulation.
I also talked to Dan Kay. He seems to be a okay guy. He is from Mexico, which is very unique. He could be a possible potential ally, but I do not get a vibe from him that emits strategist. Dan needs to prove himself to me before I ask him to become a part of any form of a alliance.
