Honestly, I have no regrets and no ill feelings. Looking back I can't think of anything I could have done differently, and ultimately I got voted out because I played the strongest strategic game out of everyone in the cast, and everyone knows it. I knew I had to win that final immunity, but I didn't have it in me. That's why you should never put yourself in a position where you have to win, but I don't think it can be avoided.
I had a great time, I played hard, I made plenty of people look foolish, so ultimately, I'm happy. I hope that people aren't mad at the way I played, because its not my goal to be a villain. I came to play, and I think that ultimately, its a game of deception, and I feel no moral dilema when lying or maneuvering. It wuold sadden me if people were upset at me for that, because at the end of the day, these are all good people, (with maybe a few exceptions), and I'd like to have their friendship, and at the least their respect.
If I could explain why I reached out to these folks during a dark time, I would. But I think that the internet has become such an outlet for people's innermost thoughts, feelings, and emotions, that if you think about it, it almost seems natural. At the time of this girl's death, everyone who knew her was literally spread across the country and the world, so its difficult to find a means of support during a time of grief. And I honestly let out a cry for help, and even though many only said a few words, it was comforting. I can especially thank those who took the time to write thoughtful and heartfelt responses, because those touched me and gave me strength. It shows that this game is so minute, and at their core, these people are wonderful human beings.
I think the final two are going to have a tough time facing the jury. Neither of them seemed to be very powerful throughout the game...either politically or in the challenges. And for that, I don't think the jury will give them much respect. But, they achieved what everyone set out to achieve, so how can you argue that they didn't play the game the best?
When I make my final decision, I am going to be looking for purpose. This game is so interesting, because it happens so frequently that people play a brilliant game without knowing what the hell they were doing. So I think the champion of Survivor: Back to Lima should be the person who made smart moves on PURPOSE. I am going to ask them some tough questions, and their answers will determine my vote. Hopefully they give enough to allow me to make an educated decision.
Guys, its been fun, I had a blast, and this is Robb signing off from Peru. Peace!
